BOSTON, August 15.—A reunion of
the Grand Army veterans, an exchange
of happy recollections and a fraternal
mingling of Confederates and .Union-
Ista today marked the opening In this
city of the national encampment of
the Grand Army of the Republic. At
noon a parade of the union ex-prison-
era of war, bluejackets and others
marked the opening of the O. A. IL
convention together with Its numerous
subsidiary organisations, Including the
Women's Relief Corps and the Ladles’
of the Reunion.
Tonight in historic FaneUll Hall, a
•core of former Confederate officers
gathered nround the banquet board as
the guests of Kdward W, Kinsley post
of Boston, as did also La Fayette post,
of New York* and here were enunciat
ed the dcclartlon that the North and
South are strongly and Inseparably
welded, with the past strife forgotten.

of Boston was toastmaster. Before In-
trodurlng Rev. 12. A. Horton, the chap

cost to see reunited by means of the
Spanish war the people of the North
arid tho South. Others who spoke were
Oov. Bates, who offered the welcome
of Massachusetts; Col. J. Anderson of
Klnlsoy post, nnd Comrnnnder-ln-Chlef
John C. Black of the G. A. K., who ex

STOMACH D08INQ WILL NOT
CURE.
Only Way to Cure Catarrh is by
Breathing Hyomei.
Ask any physician If catarrh Is o
blood disease and he udll tell you that
It la a diseased condition of the mu
coua membrane and that It cannot bt
cured by blood purifiers, pills, tablets
or other forms of stomach dosing. Tin
only sensible and scientific way of cur
ing catarrh Is by the use of Hyomei.
Breathed for a few minutes, four or
five times a day, through a hard rub
ber Inhaler that la so small that It can
be carried In the vest pocket. Hyomei
will absolutely destroy all catarrhal
germs and cure the disease. Catarrh
can never exist where Hyomei Is us
ed. It has a two-fold action, destroy
ing the disease germs in tho nlr pas
sages and lungs, and soothing and
healing tho Inflamed mucous mem
brane.
Mallory II. Taylor, one of the most
reliable Arms In Macon. Is giving his
personal guarantee with every pack
