Miss Frances Stevens Entertains.
Mias Frances Stevens has been en
tertaining thfc past week a house party,
including four of her girl friends. Miss
Elizabeth Johnson, Mias Jessie Stevens,
Miss Louise Solomon and Miss Hletta
Winn. They have enjoyed a delightful
week together, a number of very Jolly
a (fair a marking the week's pleasure.
Wednesday night the party and a few
other guests were given a trolley rldo
by Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Stevens, and
after their return a delicious supper
as served. Those present besides the
house party were Messrs. George Cone.
. I*. Johnson, Maitland Solomon, Stu
art Johnston and Stephen Solomon.
Thursday morning Miss Stevens en
tertained Informally a few friends In
honor of her guests.
The house was beautifully arranged
for the occasion and Interesting games
amused the guests for some time, after
hich refreshments Were served. The
affair was a success and will not soon
be forgotten by the guests of Miss Ste
vens.
On Thursday evening the party chap
eroned by Mr. and Mrs. Stevens, vis
ited the Outing club, where they spent
some time charmingly. A tallyho ride
Friday evening closed the week's
pleasure and was thoroughly enjoyed.

Miss Kate Kills was hostess at a
pretty and most enjoyable morning
card party on Thursday, with which
nhe complimented Miss Lyra Garrett of
Columbus.
About twenty girls were#guests, and
a very interesting game of euchre re
sulted In the prizes, pretty gauxe fans,
being won by Misses Waldron Roberts
and Hattie Winchester.
The parlors were very attractively
decorated with cut flowers, and potted
plants, and a dainty luncheon served
after the game concluded the morning’s
pleasure.
