Hubbard Oros. & Co.'s Cotton Letter.
NEW FORK, Nov. 19.—Hardly n bullish
feature has appeared Ui the situation, tho
rally of yesterday being due to covering
n the part. of the sellers early In tho
„'rek. Outside shorts also covered free
ly because in the pest the market has
always rallied from this price. The elim
ination of the short interest left the mar
ket without support, and when Liverpool
selling against purchases --followed from
Southern buyers. A alow decline resulted,
with the market steady, though heavy nt
lowest point. All advices point to a very
large amount of cotton gtnnerd to No
vember 14th. AVe hear of many instances
where more has been ginned than all of
last season. It must, however, be remem
bered that the season Is much earlier.
Estimates' are now current that the No
vember movement will be the largest on
record, exceeding last year. We note a
very general and deenseated Intention not
to be short over the bureau report on the
part of the speculators.

NEW YORK. Nov. 19— It seems
though Liverpool was very steady, just
when we are weak and then Liverpool
declines when the local market rallies.
Very hard to find the right guiding star
under such conditions as thevo. The rise
just before the close last night did not
disturb Liverpool In the least. This m
have been the result of concerted effo*
here. We are Inclined to think American
selling had something to do with It. But
traders were disappointed nnd January
worked hack to 9 J5. There was very
little trade In local ring and prices
ruled within a few points of the or* nlng.
