Perhaps you have an idea that in order to have a
bank account you must have a large sum to deposit;
that a bank doesn’t care to bother with small accounts.
This is not true of the “Fourth.” This bank wel
comes new accounts, no matter how small, and extends
the same courtesy and service to small depos'tors as to
large ones.
Let us prove it to 'you. •. :

NEW YORK, Oct 14.—The stock mar
ket took on all ths aspects ot a narrow
professional affair today. Ths volume of
the day's transsottone was meagre and
the constant shifting of the current of
prices demonstrated the feeling of hesi
tation and uncertainty of those taking
pert In the market. A number of atorks
came into activity today, which ure often
neglected for weeks at a time. Blocks
of ths cheapest grade and of tha most
doubtful value. Holes of only u few block*
of these rssulted in a collapne In the
price. These evidences of the degenera
tion of ths speculative movement prompt
ed the selling of the general list, which
depressed prices. There was no actual
news to account for the depression. The
call money market, however, continued
to show a firmer tone.
