lc. today owing to heavy week-end Maul
elation based chiefly on an official fore
cast of rain tomorrow throughout the
winter wheat belt. At the dose the net
losses were % to 1% to l%c. compared
with the previous close.
Corn and oats were easy, and provis
ions were weak.

the spot and 2,000 hales to arrive.
Cotton futures opened steady at a de
cline of 1 to 4 points under disappointing
Liverpool cables. The market received
good support after the opening and price*
advanced about 10 points from the lowest
levels. Considerable bull buying wae In
evidence following an unfavorable weath-}
cr forecast over 8unday. Mill takings
for the week were considered very bull
ing and offset the bearishness of the
