Cotton futures opened steady ok un
changed prices. The market had a good

belt. Soon after the opening a general
covering movement was In evidence and
on It price* of the active positions rote
until their were 7 and 8 points above
yesterday’s last prices. The market was
very steady all day. Toward ths end of
