A special building has been set apart for the display* of ,incs ucpnriu>^iii. _ .• . ... The Maoon Pet Stock Association will have charge of the poultry and dog show, which Is expected to be one of tho best ever given In Macon. Practically the majority of the large number of en tries have been made by Macon People. The Indications are that the exhibit of manufacturers and merchants will bo one of the largest at the fair. At least a hundred local entries have been re ceived. whllo there are a considerable number of out-of-town Arms competing. To the disappointment and regret of the officials of the fair, association, there will not 1>« a large display of cat tle. hogs and sheep or other live stock. This deplorable condition was brought about by the unavoidable late start se cured by the fair association, pros pective exhibitors not having sufficient time In which to prepare an exhibit. There will, however, be h fine apiary Tho machinery exhibit will require oa much room as all of the other display* together. The McCormick Harvesting Machinery Company and scores of ip 111 supplies firms have engaged, apace. In none of tho building* fa there any remaining apace, all having been taking by exhibitors.
