The Injured were Mr. John R. Ellis, Jr., who received bad bruises and con tusions on h1s right leg and foot, and an unknown white man. who was knocked down by one of the frightened horses and severely bruised from head to heel. The shaken up pair was Messrs. Harry Free man and C. B. Long. The horse of Mr. Long became fright ened near the corner of Cherry and Fourth and made a dash down Foui*.h. striking tho standing vehicle containing Messrs. Hills and Freeman In front of Holmes A Hardeman's cotton warehouse. The street being partly obstructed by cotton, the range for the frightened steed was narrdw. and Mr. Long's buggy struck tha one occupied by Mi. Ellis end Mr. Freeman with great force. The Impact thew the three gentlemen with violence to the street and made a complete wreck of both vehicles. Mr. Long's horse, with the front wheels of his buggy attached, continued the mad race beyond the Union station, knocking down and severely bruising an unknown pedestrian In front of the Brown Hu This unknown man was carried to Macon hospital for attention but Inter discharged.
