charge of obtaining 15.000 by false pro-
tenses from a rancher In North Yaki
ma. Wash.
The woman was arreated on Infor
mation brought to the police by her
sister-in-law, Mrs. Hose Butler, who
has followed her and her lover. Sam
uel Palmer, ton of a recent king of
the gipsy tribes, for thousands of
miles and through countless exciting
Adventures In the hope of avenging
the murder of the captive woman’s
husband, who Is alleged -to have been
shot by Palmer In a gipsy camp near
Ukluli.
Elopes With Affinity.
The story as unfolded by Captain of
Detective Peterson runs as follows:
Rebecca Butler, the woman now un-
derarrest. was tho wife of Henry But
ler. a layman, although ah^ was a
member of a gipsy tribe. After bear
ing him two children she fell In love
with Solomon Palmer, patrician gipsy
and member of 4he royal family, and
she deserted her husband for him.

with electric bulbs. As the ceremony
