of the hats, and by keeping an eye on
him tracked him to his house. As
they approached the house they met
some negroes coming iway wearing
the new hats. Asked where they got
them, they first said thty were bought
In Atlanta, but on being told that they
were stolen, having been Identified as
belonging to the lot stolen from the
car. they readily weitt to the house
and confronted the man they had got
ten them from, and the man was ar-
rested.
This man would not give any name.
