He thought tha' v he bod not been treated right by the wit nesses. claiming that It was because It was necessary for him to fight a drunken woman that the case was made. He has had every opportunity to escape, but had not made any at tempt to dd so. He now wants the sentence set aside. The mayor announced that by the change of some of the lines of the cemetery, there were many more lota that could be had at Rose Hill. The matter will he taken up by Alderman Adams, chairman of that committee.
