■A Mistaken
Idea
“1
Perhaps you have an idea that in order to have a
bank account you must have a largo sum to deposit;
that a bank doesn’t care to bother with small accounts.
This is not true of the “Fourth.” This bank'wel-
comes new accounts, no matter how small, and extends
the same courtesy and service to small depositors as to
large ones.
Let us prove it to you.

STOCK MOVEMENT

INDECISION MARKED SPECULATIVE
SENTIMENT IN YESTERDAY’S
MARKET.
H W YORK. Nov. 39.—Indecision
ed the speculative sentiment In the
stock market today. The prloe move
ment was extraordinarily mixed and the
conflicting movements .seemed to be so
nearly balanced to their power to affect
sentiment that neither was able to pre
vail. The most conspicuous of the oppos
ed movements today were those In St.
Paul and In United States - Steal. Ht.
Paul showed Mgresslve strength at dif
ferent times. •There was persistent sell
ing of United State* Steel, some of the
Individual transaction being in enormous
volume. The shares with St. Paul In the
upward tendency were, for tho most port,
amongst the lesa conspicuous low priced
stocks.
The usual market leaders, Including the

gamated Copper. American Smelting and
Reading were Inclined to move In oom-
pany with tho United Htutes Steel. Tho
upward spurts at different times In New
York Central. Chesapeake and Ohio and
the Rock Island Issues had no explana
tion In new developments affsctlng tho
properties. They were attributed for the
most part to activity on the part of stock
market pools in the stocks.
The feature of tho day In the wider
financial significance was the evidence of
the capital requirements opening before
the markets. The announcement of tho
sale of $50,000,000 of American Telephcv- ?
“ nl Telegraph convertible bonds to bank

partly due to the announcement of a

points. The dissolution of the eyndlcate
was accompanied by an Intimation that
less than 10 per cent of tho underwriting
hail been disposed of.
The money market was unaffected by
this or by tho arrangements for tho Do-
oomhor settlements. There was some
further advunco In foreign exchange
