eery store. B. Dreyer yeate**da>‘ applied
to tho superior court for a receiver for
firm. His petition was granted. Will
Bulloch being directed by the court to
take charge of the assets. He gave
a bond of 1200.
In his application for reortver,
Dreyer sets out that on October ITTie
and Hans Hoppcndeltzel agreed to
enter the grocery business, each put
ting up S325. They were to 4!vide
profits. Ho alleges that Hoppendeltael
never put In his part of the capital,
but assumed the management of the
store and haa since pocketed all of Us
revenue. Dreyer also says that his
partner declines to account for the
existing shortage of $300. which he
d(severed upon making an inventory
on December 8. less than two months
after the business was organised.
The present assets of the store. In
cluding horse and wagon, aggregate In
value about IS00. The liabilities. In
debtedness to local wholesale firms,
are about Silt. The case wD! be ac

No Convlotiona In Prohibition Cases,
But Gamblers Were Found Guilty.
The stats was unsuccessful In two
prohibition eases In the elty court
yesterday, ona resulting In a mistrial
and the other In acquittal.
The Jury on the cate of Hugh Cas
sidy, charged with selling liquor, could
not agree, four favoring a verdict of
not guilty and eight holding out for
conviction.

there being a lack of sufficient evi
dence against him.
With the gamblers it went hard.
Tobe Amerson. Joe Amerson. Jim Car
michael and Pleaa Miller, all wffite,
were found guilty of gaming and were
each lined sixty dollars. On similar
charges. Will Parker and Will Peeler
ere acquitted.
Bud Battle was found not guilty on
a charge of stealing.
The Juries were dismissed ye^ier-
day for the rest of the term. Thero

To Decide On the Down-Town Location
For Its Home and Quarters.
The members of the Cherokee Club
will hold a meeting at the office of the
Horn* having a Bank at 5:30 Monday

mittee appointed .to select a down-town
location for th* club will be submitted.
As stated In The Telegraph, the com
mittee has selected the rooms over the
present Telegraph office, now occupied
