Why Not Give Him a
Half Dozen Shirts?
HE WILL APPRECIATE THE GIFT
We do not know of anything a man Bhould be more
particular about in dress than the Shirt he is to wear
with his formal Clothes.
A Dress Shirt should be so perfectly proportioned
that it will not ride up, bulge pinch or crease across the
bosom.
Tho scientific accuracy of an E. & W. Shirt insures
the "hang” that in turn insures the perfect fitting
Shirt.
White or colored, stiff bosom ShirtB.
$1.00 to $3.50
Plain or Pleated Shirts, $1.00 to $2.50.

QUALITY and PRICES
You know that the best quality and freshest stooks
..are always found at A&P Stores, because they are First
Hands.
Our prices have always, and will always be shown
so that it is easy to determine which store gives the great
est values, and the evidence invariably proves A&P
Stores to be the greatest stores for giving the greatest
values to the consumer.
Remember whenever you see an article advertised
which appears to be a bargain, that it is always best
to get the same article fresh from the A&P Store, at the
same or a lower price, provided it is a first class article,
suoh as are sold in A&P Stores. .
You cannot buy anything that we handle at any
other store for less money than wo sell it for, and if you
see anything advertised by any concern, and it is an
article we handle you can get it from this store for the
same or less money, and you will know you aro getting
it fresh. Today is a good time to make a test of this
assertion. We have no competition when the quality of
.our goods is taken into consideration.

READ8 THE PALMS QF HIS PEO
PLE, BUT FAILED TO CARRY
OUT A CONTRACT.
Just as Prof. West told the fortunes,
past. present and future, of the Atlanta
people, revealing future husbands, lost
money and such things, so did Prof. I.
C. Murphy, the black necromancer,
baelllconthkumaturglst. and lifter of
veils, endeavor to do for the gulltbles
of his race In Macon.
Among those who entrusted him
with their money to learn the hidden
secrets, was one Sallie Reynolds. He
la supposed to have told Sallie that
some of her kin was to die and to die
too soon for 8al!le to believe, and one
K lnted him out to an officer as noth-
I more than a fake, it then deVeW
oped that he had been reading 'the
palms of others at so much per. and he
claimed that by looking Into their
palms he could tell .the exact location
of every pain in the human body, and
how it could be relieved. He knew
tho human body from tho toe up.
The- professor did not deny this pe
culiar gift, but he denied that he was
a fake*. He went on to tell the recJrdo*
how a woman camo to him with a pint
of liquor, for which she wanted seven
ty-fly* cents and that ho gave h«»r fifty
cents In money and mas to tell hei
fortune for the other quarter, but he
did not have the time then to tell it,
his thirst overcoming him. That when
he did taste the whisky it did not
come up to her recommendation, which
was that it was as fine an article as
he ever drank: instead, It was the vil
est sort of bllnil tiger stuff, and. there
fore, he did not feel like carrying out
his contract of reading hc*r palm for
the balance due.
There was nothing In the case for
the recorder to take cognisance of. but
it occurred to the officers that there
was a license for fortune tellerJ and
palmists arid clairvoyants, ot one hun
dred dollars. A case was. thereforo,
made aralnst him for operating with
out a license, and the chances are that
the professor will take up some other
line of business.
Asthma Sufferers Snould Know This.
Foley's Honey and Tar has cured
njany cases of asthma that were con
sidered hopeless. Mrs. Adolph Buss

Iowa, writes: A severe cold contract
ed twelve years ago was neglected
until It finally grew Into asthma. Tho
best medical skill available could not
give me more than temporary relief.
Foley's Honey and Tar was recon
mended and one flfty-cent bottle en
tirely cured me of asthma which had
been growing on me for twelve year*.

have been saved years of suffering"
