ton Is In sadness today over the death
of Mrs. Mary Johnson Reid, wife of
Judge. John S. Reid, after nn Illness
of four days from pneumonia. Mrs.
Reid was the. adopted daughter of the
late Mr. Albert Albert Mosely, nnd
tho foster mother of the children of
Dr. Dennis B. NIsbet, whoso wlfo^dlod
fourteen years ago, survived by tbreo
children—Miss Mary NIsbet, Miss An
na Lou NIsbet and Mr. Reuben Battle

Mrs. Reid was a member of ono of
Georgia's largest and best known
families, a cultured Christian woman,
with a host of friends, and her denth

count of Goddard threatening to make

application to settle with Bailey for
$1,000. Bailey stated, which he very

DUBLIN, Ga.. Dec. 21.—The direc
tors of the Wrightsvllle and Tcr.nille
Railroad havo declared a semi-annual
dividend of 3 per cent. The capital
stock of the road is $800,000. Eighteen
thousand dollars In dividends will,
therefore, be distributed among the
stockholders. Next summer another
dividend of 3 per cent .will be declar
ed, If the usnnl policy of the road Is
carried out, making 0 per cent yearly.
Last year 9 stock dividend of 100 per
cent was declared, the capital stock
at that time being only $300,000. The
road Is said to be worth more than
$1,000,000, although the stock even now
Is only $600,000.
The main line runs from Tcnnllle to
IlawkinsvMlc via Dublin and is 71
Wiles In length. It Ig one of the best
p'eces of railroad property In the state
and Is as well equipped ss the Cen
tral.
