Theso passengers were from Eatonton, Gor don, ‘Milledgevllle and other points ulong the line, "and nil seemed to be highly delighted with the change In the schedule. Oapt. A. N. Brnnner, one of the Cen tral’s most populnr conductors, In charge of the. train/ and seemed to •ho- hugely delighted with the pros pects for good travel under the new schedule.* The train wns made up of •only two passenger cars, and yester day’s passengers triced it to its utmost capacity. If the new train continues to bring In as many passengers as It did yes terday, It Is thought the change In schedule will be n . paying proposition not-'only for the railroad, but for tho ’merchants of Macon with whom tho passengers come to the city to - trade. A large -percentage of the passen gers who came up on No. 17 yoKterday were Christmas shoppers, and spent the day In Macon, returning c o’clock yesterday aftornoon, arriving In Eatonton at 7:30 In plenty Of time for aupper^nnd n good night’s rest.
