Indian Springs, May 26,1831. J 3-4 t r ';-The Georgia Journal, Macon Telegraph. Savannah Georgian, Augusta Courts, and Athe nian, at Athens, will publish the above four times, and forward their accounts to “L.A. L. Indian Springs, Geo. dlontpelier Spring, Monoe county, jjia. fjAIIE undersigned, after great labour*ond ex jL pense, is at length enabled to other this eata- Vishment to the notice of the public. In 3 climate like ours, where the enervating in f noncet f long and warm summers is experienced ty ail, inviting the operation of causes, tending to the production of autumnal diseases, it is an object of no trilling import to the community to Lave r nurse to a situation in which the assaults of oteeuse may be prevented, its violence mitiga ted, and recovery rendered speedy and effectual. Such a place the undersigned honestly believes he in the Montpelier Spring. Independent of-the advantageous location ol ■fhis establishment; situated in a region unques tionably healthy; the Medical qualities of the wa ter, are uf a character entitling it to high claims upen tile confidence of the community. The waters of Saratoga and liulistou have long Since, rendered them places of extensive resort , both by invalids and persons of fashion. And the signal benefits derived from their use by persons labouring under Chronic Diseases (especially of the digestive organs) have obtained for them well merited celebrity—and from a pretty accurate analysis, by gentlemen of competent science, comparing the result with the analysis of the Waters ot Saratoga and Ballston, as published by ■ D Mead, they find the waters of the Montpelie , Spring, to possess, with a trifling exception the same chemical qualities. Asa chalybeate contain ing more Iron thantheformer and less than the iat- Vr, vu:halarge proportion of the muriates of so ur and lime; the most striking difference being the liiscnce of uncombined fixed air, with which the Saratoga water abounds. Of the beneficial application oiithis water in disease, the proprietor tan bear ample testimony. I h chronic affections of the Liver, Spleen, and '•itii concomitant functional derangement of the Stomach ; he can confidently assert that he has 11 remedy of equal nature. In dyspepsia, ' ’ Hydra :f modern times, it is an invaluable r>;. Jv. when aided as every remedy must he, by *•- l! atf'-rate use of a well selected regimen. In : "1 the skill, and particularly Tetter in all lfcnro-ty.it is certain remedy.ln dropsies from 'tu'cral obstructions, chronic rheumatism, and C.‘relaxation and debility consequent upon a residence in low, unhealthy situations, its value n-'l. -istly estimated. Abundairt testimony could fce produced to establish the truth <jf this state rfi w’oio it necessary; hut an intelligent corn et ' tty will make the experiment an and decide for V nnstlves : and with their award the proprietor tp. cheerfully rest the reputation of the Spring. TV undersigned assures the public that he Would u r -t thus recommend the use of the Mont f'- '-r wi\ ’r, but having been extensively engag ed ui the pr, ttice of medicine in Georgia for near ly thirty years -claims the right to judge of the try'cly he rec-u. intends.
