(T j' Sales of Land, by Administrators, Exe
cutors, or Guardians, are required, by law, to be
held on the first Tuesday in the month, between
the hours often in the forenoon and three in the
afternoon, at the conurt-house in the county in
which the property is situate. Notice of these
6tdes must be given in a public gazette sixty days
previous to the day of sale.
Sales of negroes must be at public auction, on
he first Tuesday of the month, between the usual
hours of sale, at the place of public sales in the
county where the letters Testamentary, of Admin
istration or Guardianship, may have been granted,
rrst giving sixty days notice thereof,in one of the
public gazettes of this State, and at the door of the
court-house, where such sales are to be held.
Notice for the sale of Personal Property must
be given iu like manner, Forty days previous to
the day of sale.
Notice to the Debtors and Creditors of an Es
tate must be published tor forty days.
Notice that application will be made to the
Court of Ordinary for heave to sell Land, must be
published four months.
Notice for leave to sell Negroes, must be pub
lished for four months, before any order absolut
shall lie made thereon by the Court.

KIMBERY & CHISHOLM, in the Mer
cantile establishment, has located himseif in the
new house below the corner, on Cherry street, re
cently occupied by them, where lie will sell
Goods as low as any other house in this place, for
Gash or Cotton.
His stock is now very complete, comprising
almost every article for the country ; it consists
Hats, Shoes, Hardware, Groceries,
Salt, Iron, &ec.
The old customers and the public generally,
ate respectfully invited to call, as the same facili
ties heretofore given will still exist.
In the rear of his Store is a New W arc House,
just finished, and now ready for the reception ot
Cotton, which he will take on Storage, and make
liberal advances oti the same.

on the corner of Broad and Jackson streets, ans
immediately adjoining the Masonic Hall. It is
situated in the most central part of the City, and

grateful acknowledgment for the liberal patron
age hitherto extended, amniopes, by assiduous at
