Sales of Land, by Administrators, Exe
cutors, or Guardians, are required, by law, to b*
held on the first Tuesday in the month, between
the hours often in the forenoon and three in the
•afternoon, at the comtrt-house in the county in
which the property is situate. Notice of these
sales must be given in a pub;>3-gazette sixty days
previous to the day of sale.
Sales of negroes must be at public auction, on
he first Tuesday of the mon’h, between the usual
hours of sale, at the place of public sales in the
comity where the loiters Testamentary, of Admin
istration or Guardianship, may have been granted,
first giving sixty days notice thereof, in one of the
public gazettes wl' tliis State, and at the door of the
court-house, where such sales are to be held.
Notice for the sale of Personal Properly must
ba given in like manner, Forty days previous to
tne day of sale.
Notice to the Debtors and Creditors of an Es
tate must be published for forty days.
Notice that application will be made to the
Court of Ordinary for leave to sell Land, must be
published four months.
Notice for leave to-sell Negroes, must be pub
fished for four months, before any order absolut
shall ho made thereon by the Court.
