The Western Mail, is due every day 12 o’clock, noon, and closes every day at P. M. The Savannah Mail direct, is due on Mondays and Thursdays at 2 o’clock U. M, and closes on Friday and Mondays <-A P. M. The Petersburg Mail, via. Milledgevilie, Latonton, Greensborough, A Washington, closes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday’s at 11 A. "I. The Covington Mail, via. Stallings’ Store, For syth, Jackson, Butt county, Henry C. 11. Ac. Also, The Talbotton Mail, by way of Thomnston, Torbetsville, Bellville, &c. will close on Thurs days at 0] I*. M. and is due at 5 P. M. on Tues day. An Extra Mail , as far as Forsyth, will be made up every Wednesday at 7 A. M. Letters for Hawkinsville, Dooly O. H. and all Florida, are mailed oa Wednesday at 11 o’- clock A. M. The Mail for LaGrange, Oampbellton, Wood’s Store, JVewnan, Villa Kira, Carrollton, and all tiiat part of the state, closes on Thursday at hi F. M. The Perry Mail via. Culloden’s, Thomaston, Fayetteville to lie Kalb C. H. is made up on Fri day at 63 P. M. Every one wishes their letters to go with despatch, to effect this, they must have them in the Oflioe previous to the hour of closing the mail. ON Thursday the 29th March, a young man who called himself RILEY, hired a saddle horse from my Livery Stable, during my absence for two days, and has not since been heard of. — The following is a description of him and horse, he is of a slender statute, middling height, light complected and has a full face—the horse is a dark bay, has a long tail and short mane, and his hind fet-locks are considerably sprnng—B or 9 years old, and 14 or 15 handshigh. It is possible he may have been taken sick, and if not the pub lic are cautioned against him, he wore a light colored suit, with a round-about of the latest fash ion. The public are cautioned against trading for a horse of the above description, if he has stolen the horse, a liberal reward will te paid for the safe detention of the horse or for the de tection of the thief so that he may be brought to justice.
