SO—ly SIVKRY STABLE, Macon, Georgia, A The subscriber would inform the citizens of Macon, and those whose business brings them hither, that he has now completed his Sta Me on Second street, in a style inferior to but few in the Southern country. He has also been dai ly adding, and will continue to dp so, all that is necessary to the comfort of the man of plea sure, and for depatch to the traveller. He has now on hand, used in the Livery, some forty head of horses, with a number of Barouches, Gigs, Sulkeys, Ac. which are mostly new, and others are undergoing repairs nec ssarv for the season ; besides which, in a few days, will receive an ad ditional supply of Gigs and Sulkies, well suited to the taste and wants of the place. Attached to the Livery Stable, is a coach-ma kers, painters, trimmers, and harness manu factory, as well as a Blacksmith shop ; and hav ing been at much trouble and expense in procu ring good workmen, for all these different branch es, will enable the subscriber at all times to keep bis vehicles and harness in perfect repair. E very care and pains will be taken to promote the interest, comfort and convenience of the Pat rons of the Establishment; but the subscriber has been taught by experience, that persons luring must make good all these delays, and injuries, which may happen. It is proper here to remark, that all carriages, gigs, or oilier vehicles, or horse, being injured by accident, ill-usage, or other cause, the person having hired the same, will be' held liable therefore, for each day, the article or horse is withheld as unfit for service ; and also for repairing and feeding, during such delin quency. The heretofore established Prices will conti nue to govern, and may be seen at the I.ivery Stable; they are as moderate as the times will ad mit. STAGE TO MONTPELIER SPRINGS. During the ensuing summer and fall, the sub scriber will run a daily Tack between this place and the Montpelier Springs ; commencing on the first day of June—leaving Washington Hall, in Macon, at 3 o’clock, P. M. where seats can be procured, at the usual stage Kites, to-say, $1,75 per seat, payable in advance. THE INDIAN SPRINGS, W 7 i!l also be visited twice a week, by backs running from my stable—leaving Erwin’s Hotel, in Macon, every Tuesday'and Saturday, at H o’- clock, A. The Western Mail, is due every day 12 o’clock, noon, and closes every day at CJ P. M. The Savannah Mail direct, is due on Mondays and Thur -’ays at 2 o’clock P. At. and closes on Friday and Mondays at 6J P. M. The Petersburg Mail, via. Milledgeville, Eatonton, Greensborough, A Washington, closes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday’s at 11 A. M. The Covington Mail, via. Stallings’ Store, For syth, Jackson, Butt county, Henry C, 11. Ac. Also, 'The Talhotton Mail, by way of Thomaston, Torbctsville, Bellville, Ac. will close on Thurs days at CJ P. M. and is due at 5 P. M. on Tues day. An Extra Mail, as far as Forsyth, will be made up every Wednesday at 7 A. M. Letters for llawkiasville, Dooly C. H. and all Florida, nre mailed on Wednesday at II o’- clock A. M. The Mail for LaGrangr, Canmbellton, Wood’s Store, Newnan, Villa Rica, Carrollton, and all that part ot the state, closes on Thursday at Ci P. M. The Perry Mail via. Cutloden’s, Thomaston, Fayetteville to DeKalb C. 11. is made up on Fri day at GJ-P. M. Every one withes their letters to go with despatch, to effect this, they must have them in the Office previous to the hour of closing the mail. ON Thursday the '2oth March, a young man who called himself RILE Y, hired a saddle horse irom my Livery Stable, during my absence for two days, and has not since been heard of.— The following is a description of him and horse, he is of a slender statute, middling height, light ; complected and has a Full face —the horse is a dark bay, has a long tail and short mane, and his hind fet-loeks are considerably sprung—B or 9 years old, and 14 or 15 hands high. It is possible lie may have been taken sick, and if not the pub lic are cautioned against him, he wore a light colored suit, with a round-about of the latest fash ion. The public are cautioned against trading for a horse of the above description, if he has stolen the horse, a liberal reward will l e paid for the safe detention of the horse or for the de tection of the thief so that he may be brought to justice.
