He has also been dai ly adding, and will continue to do so, all that is necessary to the comfort of the man of plea sure, and lbr depatch to the traveller. lie has now on hand, used in the Livery, some forty head of horses, with a number of Barouches, Gi*s, Sul keys, Ac. which are mostly new, and others are undergoing repairs nec ssary for the season ; besides w hich, in a few* days, will receive an ad ditional supply ot Gig-s and Sulkies, well suited to-tlie taste and wants of the place. Attached to the Livery Stable, is a coach-ma ker's, painters, trimmers, and harness maiw tactory, as well as a Blacksmith shop ; and hav ing been at much trouble and expense in procu ring good workmen, for all these different branch es, will enable the subscriber at all times to keep his vehicles aud harness in perfect repair. E very care and pains will be taken to promote the interest, comfort and convenience of the Pat rons ot the Establishment*; but 11 iWsubscriber has been taught by experience, that persons hiring must make good ail these delays, and injuries, which may happen. It is proper here to remark, that all carriages, gigs, or other vehicles, or horse, being injured by accident, ill-usage, or other cause, the person having hired the same, will be held liable therefore, lor each day, the article or horse is withheld as unfit for service ; and also for repairing and feeding, during such delin quency. The heretofore established Prices will conti nue to govern, and may be seen at the Livery Stable; they are as moderate as the' times will admit. STAGE TO MONTPELIER SPRINGS. During the ensuing summej and fall, the sub scriber will run a daily hack between this place and the Montpelier Springs ; commencing on the first day of June—leaving Washington Hall, in Macon, at 3 o’clock, P. M. where seats can be procured, at the usual stage rates, to-say, $1,75 per seat, payable in advance. THE INDIAN SPRINGS, Will also be visited twice a week, by backs running from my stable—leaving Erwin’s Hotel, in Macon, every Tuesday and Saturday, at 8 o’- clock, A. M. and J cave the Springs at 8 o’clock, on Thursdays and Monday’s ; price of a seat, $5 in advance. HORSES, Will be kept by the day, week, month or year. JOSEPH BENNETT. ON Thursday the 291 b March, a young man who called himself RILEY, hired a saddle horse from niy Livery Stable, during my absence for two days, and has not since been heard of.— The following is a description of him and horse, he is of a slender statute, middling height, light complected and has a full face —the horse is a dark bay, has a long tail and short mane, and his hind fct-locks are considerably sprung--8 or 9 years old, and 14 or 15 hands high. It is possible he may have been taken sick, and if not the pub lic are cautioned against him, he wore a light colored *suit, with a round-about of the latest fash ion. The public are cautioned against trading for a horse of the above description, if he has stolen the horse, a liberal reward will be paid Irr the safe detention of the horse or for the de tection of the thief so that hernav be brought to justice.
