This looks a little bad for Gordon in F*r-
THE OUTLOOK IK DEKALB.
But the talk that is the most Interesting and
amusing comes from DeKslb, Gordon’s own coun-

Stranger things have happened. Gen. Gordon's
interests have been in Florida sod New York, and
has he been able to give very little attention to
DeKalb. And the people of the county appreciate
thla fact very fully.
Mr. 01. Willingham, one of the best known cltl-
tens in the county, was asked the other day, "Will
Major Bacon get 100 votes In the conntyr* He re
plied, "Bacon will get 000 votes in the 8tone Moun
tain district.” He will also get votes elsewhere in
the county, and It is not unlikely that the DeKalb
delegation will come to the convention for Bacon.
