Mayor Fitzpatrick appeared on the

Wood paid his commitments to his hon

paltrick hurried to the scene as soon

also arrived on the scene In due time.

Indianapolis, March IS.—The legisla
ture ended la a riot last night. The
governor la allowed by the constitution

Besides three gentlemen and several
other adopted Atlanttans Major J. F.
Hanson and R. D. Locke Of Macon,
were present and engaged tn the discus
sion. All were emphatic In expressing
their convictions that the salvation of
the country rested solely on the pnCkry
of protection, snd In denouncing the
Democratic party.
They propose to form first a Protec
tion club In lAIUsnts, and later on to
widen their •oemtlona and 'form a

tendance at last night's meeting the
