ter Gusman of Nicaragua, who commu
nicated to him the Intelligence he had
from his government. Very shortly
afterwards, members of the cabinet,
one by one. drove out to Woodley, the

cial cabinet meeting was held. The
outcome of the meeting ia understood
to be that the administration ie dis

Consolidated Company and the Hale in
vestment Company, which has kept the
city council tn hot water for six months
past, hut which appeared to have been
settled by the grant of the franchise to
the latter, broke out la a new lino today.
Through their attorneys, the Consoli
dated has asked for an Injunction re
straining the city council from granting
the franchise Under dispute, to the old
waterworks property. The council Is also
sought to be enjoined from leising the
property to the Hale Investment Com
pany. the Iras© contract having, however
already been signed. The Consolidated
cliams that the council cannot legally ex
present circumstances the city would
©cute such a lease,, and that under the
would practically be a stockholder in the
Investment Company, which is contrary
to the state constitution. Judge Rump*
