- KILLED OVER SKIN GAME.
OUn last Saturday night, Aaron Barrcw
and Jake Tison, two colored men. who
lived on the Johnsen place, a few miles
from town, engaged in a g.me of skin.
After playing for some time, as usual a
dispute arose over the g.ne. Aaron drew
ajknife, and attempted to stab Jake, but
Jake got in his work with a shot gun, and
seut his woud-be assailunt to his long
re«ting place beyond the river.
Tison made his escape and has not
been captured,
Mr.J. A, Lipsey has purchased from
Mr. W. H. Pullen, the Tison place in
Readbone district.
