Odom, Ga., are this week moving
to Lee County and will make their
home here with us. Mr. Manget
owns land in the Southern part of
Tee county which is known as the
Central settlement. He will begin
at once to set pecans. We welcome
them to our county and wish them

In Literature we studied ‘“The
Age of Chaucer,”’ 1350-1400, in
effective expression” we had the
Qualitics of Good Literature.
In Chemistry we bad combining
weights, the atomic theory, formulwe,
equations and calculations.

In Rhetoric we took up the study
of “‘The Correct Sentence.’”” The

tion.” In Physics we dealt with

The average attendance was 98
percent, There were 2 absenters
and 2 tardies. We spent our time
sturlying the use of the coma in Eng
lish and learned how to-use it when
necessary. In science most of the
pupils have completed their chart

dan and in duily lessons we have
had it resting recitations on the
social side of the food problem.
We have been studying and work-

Helvetiians and in history we have

form’’ and how it was brought
about or the reason for it. The
class bas made much progress in the
Palmer writing method. We are

Scheol Distriet of ioe County, Geor
gia, at which will be submitted to
the registered qualified voters of
said schiool district, the question

of twelve thousand and five hundred
dollars ($12,500) for the purpose of
erecting and building and equipping
a school house in and for gaid school
district. Said tonds to bear inter
