CHARLES’
London Cordial Gin. j
THE ORIGINAL AND ONLY LONDON GIN j
IMPORTED.
THIS GIN, distilled in j
London, from sound Barley, i
under the surveillance of the j
British Excise Laws, is del
icately flavored with a
tincture of tbe Italian Juni
per Beriv, and some of the
most valuable restoratives
if the vegetable kingdom,
rendering it in the opinion
fthe most eminent men,
the purest and safest stimu
lant or diuretic drink, in
use.
It is a delicious tonic, of
a soft and delicate flavor,
differing entirely from any
other Gin, and devoid of
that harsh, acrid taste, which renders the article
known as Holland Gin or Schnapps so objec
tionable. .
Though not intended as a Medicine, it is,
nevertheless recommended by Physicians gen
erally in cases of Dyspepsia, Goer, Rneu-
! visa, Colic, Dropsy, Gravel, Cholera, Fe-
' veb and Ague, Stricture, Diseases of the
Ubinary Organs, the Kidneys, and the Bow
els, Nervous Debility, Ac . whilst the weaker
sex, bv its use will invariably find a relief from
those distressing annoyances which frequently
attend their delicate organization.
Dr. Valentine Mott, of New York, the high
est medical authority, says: “In some cases I
recommend pure Holland Gin as a medicine.
Charles’ London Cordial Giu contains a larger
quantity of Jirnijier, and I consider it a far
superior article; iu fact, the best I hare ever
seen.”
It is peculiarly adapted to residents in the
Southern and Western States, as well as for
travellers exposed to changes of water and air.
For sale in quarts and pints by all Druggists,
Grocers, Fruiterers ana country merchants.
Beware of imitations. Buy only CHARLES’

A few short Extracts from Letters,
Testimonials, Ac.
“ I have used Jacob’s Cordial in my family,
and have found it a most efficient, and in my
judgment, a valuable remedy.
Hun. HIRAM WARNER,
Judge of Supreme Court, Georgia.”
“ It gives me pleasure in being able to rec
ommend Jacob’s Cordial j my own personal
experience, and the experience of my neigh
bors and friends around roe, is a sufficient
guarantee for me to believe it to be all that it
purports to be, viz. a sovereign remedy.
V 1 WM. H. UNDERWOOD,
Formerly Judge of Superior Court,
Cherokee Circnit.”
“I take great pleasure in recommending
this invaluable medicine to all afflicted with

sovereign remedy—decidedly superior to any
thing else ever tried by me.
e A. A. GAULDING,
Deputy G. M. of the Grand Lodge of Ga.”
“ I have used Jacob’s Cordial in my family,
and this, with all I hear about it as a remedy
by those who have tried it, induces ine to be
lieve that it stands at the head of every prepa
ration of the kind, and I would recommend its
use in the diseases for which it is compounded.
MILES G. DOBBINS,
Cashier of the Bank of the State of
Georgia, Griffin.”
“If there is any credibility in hnmm testi
mony, Jacob’s Cordial must stand pre-eminent
above all other preparations for the enre of
Bowel Diseases. From the mass of testimony
in its farm coming in from all quarters, it
must be verv far in advance, as a curative
agent, of most if not all other ‘patent’ prepara
tions. a. Fleming,
Cashier Marine A Fire Insurance Bank,
Griffin.”
“This efficient remedy is travelling into ce
lebrity as fas! as Bonaparte pushed his col

To all persons afflicted with Sexual Diseases,
such as Spermatorrhoea, Seminal weakness,
Impotence, Gonorrhoea, Gleet, Syphilis, the
Vice of Onanism, or Self Abuse, Ac., Ac.
The Howard Association, iu view of the aw
ful destruction of human life, caused by sexual
diseases, and tbe deceptions practised upon the
unfortunate victims of such diseases by quacks,
several vears ago directed their Consulting
Surgeon' as a charitable act worthy of their
name, to open a Dispensary for tbe treatment
of this class of diseases, in all their forms, and
to give Medical Advice Gratis, to all who ap- - ruige trimmer! nai
ply by letter, with a description of their condi- manufacturer, *c., can afford to do without
tion, (age, occupation, habits of life, Ac.,) and them,
in cases of extreme poverty, to furnish medi
cines free of charge.
It is needless to add that the Association
commands the highest medical skill of the age,
and will furnish the nnst approved modern
treatment.
The Directors, on a review ot the past, feel
assured that their labors in this sphere of be
nevolent effort, have been of great benefit to
the afflicted, especially to the young, and they
have resolved to devote themselves, with re- !
newed zeal, to this very important but much
despised cause.
Just Published, by the Association, a Report

Is only a fair average of the actual profit from
the use of each one of these Machines, and, for
confirmation of this truth, we refer to any one
of the thousands of persons who use them.—
They are adapted to every sort of work, fine or
coarse, upon silk, cotton, linen and woolen
fabrics, also light and heavy leather. They
never fa,] to give entire satisfaction.
To meet the growing demand for a smaller
and more elegant machine for private house
hold purposes, we have just produced, and are
ready to receive orders for
