There were two weddings in the vicinity of Homer Sunday. For some time Mr. R. D. Steph ens and Miss Susie Stevens have been sweethearts, but on account of parental objections, they did not grt to si e eachother as often as they liked.. This is the happy eonsimiation of a love affair of long standing, and Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner are fortunate in the selection each made. Mr, Gardiner is a splendid young man ! a successful farmer, and all lie needed was a pretty young wife to look after his home. Now he lias her and con gratulations arc in order.
