of work and will get np a display
worthy of Glynn county and the Fair
of 1882.

TEN DAYS
Are uow left in which tbe people of
Glynn county and the city of Bruns
wick are to gei ready their variousar-
ticles for exhibition at the Fair. An
exhibition is made up by tbe individ
ual contributions of a people who, all
combined, me to be more or less ben-
efitted by a grand display. If all
lend a hand, and do what a spirit of
pride in their city aud county should
prompt, the Fair of May, 1882, will
be u grand success. We r< spectfully
ask that no one stu d back and say,
“wbat I’have may not take a premi
um,” but try it on—it may. And then,
suppose it does not—you at least can
feel that your duty has beeu perform
ed. Exhibit anything you have or
can produce. Show that the citizens
of Glynn county and the city of
Brunswick compete with each other
iu tho illustration of their energy,
tiw'K and earnest purpose of building
up their county and city.
D. T. Dunn, President.
M. J. Colson, Secretary.
MUSIC.
It looks now as if we were to be fa
vored with plenty of music. Vari
ous corn.'! bands have suggested vis
iting our city during the Fair. Our
own band will do their whole duty,
and no doubt “take the rag off the
bush. If tho Wayeross boys come, as
is now probable, they will wake the
Brnnswiok boys up with some fine
music.
