Whereas, Upon a petition of many citizens ask ing for anew Militia District of parti of 26th and 27th Districts, and said Commissioners haring been appointed and haring complied with the law in d to laying out Militia Districts. it Resolved, That the territory embraced within the boundaries of aald New District, 4s laid out and defined by the Commissioners, to-wit: Commencing at the centre of the bridge across the Brunswick and a1 tarn aha Canal, near Evelyn Post Office—running thence slong tne middle of the public road leedlbg to Sterling Station, tft that oint. Thence along the public road to Pyles arsh, or Station on tbe Brunswick and Albany Railroad. Thence along the line of said Road to the Little Buffalo Baliroiul Bridge. Thence along the line of Buffalo Creek to the bridge on the public road across said creek. Thence along the western edge of the Big Buffalo swamp, to the Wayne County Line. Thence along Wayne County Line to the Altamaha river. Thence along the Altamsba river to the creek into which the Bruns wick and Altamaha Canal empties. Thence along the line of said creek, to tbe mouth of said Canal. Thence along the line of said Canal, to the point of beginning, shall form and aftsr this date be known as the 1366 District, G.
