The resolution, boiug seconded, was adopted. We have often* written tjlon this subject, telling of the great need of such an institution to our business in terest, and also showing some idea of the volume of basiness that eoold bs transacted through such a medium— in short, what there is to support • bank. We have always been met with tho answer, our busiuoss men have not the capita! to spare from their business to pot into such an en terprise, as much as they would like to. , We are now prepared, if we are rightly informed, to answer that ob jection. To establish a national hank $50,000 is necessary, tho same to be iuvesteil in United Slates bonds and posited in the national treasury, fo r which a similar amonnt Of green backs will bo issued for the use of the now bank.’• • < ■ r Tho hank being now established, 'eiiob individual stockholder can bor row almost the entire amount r ' t stock if he desires, fi- cate of stock as collateral. Thus we sea that such parties ss c innot spare their money from their basiness can draw it out and use it just ss before, paying interest, ft ii trne, bnt getting in rotnrn a percentage of the earnings of the bank, which more than offsets tho interest account, for tho bonds are inter jet-bearing. Now, of coar.e, if every man borrows as muck at he puts in, there will bs nothing left in the treasury to carry on the husiues- with. This, however, is no- a sop- posable car?, as every depositor eon hi leave some of his, and many c nld leave all. We throw out these eng- g jstious for the consideration of our business men, hopicj some of the ji will iuveatigate the matter and give it ehaps. We certainly need a bank, and onless a private bank can b* bad, aj should ge» the otbsr. Dot isli Good. Moore k Menifield ars making harness equal to any establiabmeat :n the South.
