Mother’s Day Next Sunday.
Next Sunday is Mother's Day and
there is none greater. We are all in
debted to our mother. No finer ex
ample of noble sacrifice has ever been
furnished usf. No truer or loyal cham
pion ever protected us. Her’s is a life
of service.
*ln recognition of the value of that
service to each and every one of us it
has been universally agreed that, In
token of the day and 'of the event,
eacjh should wear a flower, a white
flower by one whose mother is dead,
a red flower by one whose mother is
yet living.
Before all men let it be known next
Sunday that you remember your moth
er and that you are bearing one of
nature’s most beautiful and expressive
tokens in reverential tribute. By so
doing you will honor her and yourself
as well.

C. B. GW!N HAS

Produce Man had Rheumatism so
Bad His Muscles Felt Like

They Were l ied in a Knot.
• Yes, sir. it i:- a fact when I tell
von that 1 hr.vi gained thirty pounds
on Tan lac, and am now able to do
about twice the amount, oT work I
| have been able to do at anytime dur
ing the pas! ten years," said .Mr. C. B.
Gwin, the well-kripwifi produce man of
Armory, Miss., in telling of the won
derful results he had obtained from
Tan lac.
"I have been in a general rundown
ondition for sometime," fontimied
Dir. Gwin, ‘dn 1 sune.ed principally
with rheumatism. My whole system
seemed rundown, debilitated, 1 could
not sleep at night and I would feel in
the morning just as fatigued as I did
upon going to bed at night. My diges
tion became effected and I couldn’t
rat. Attacks of violent headaches
were frequent* and my nervous sys
tem seemed to be all disordered. The
rheumatism was so ‘severe at times
my muscles seamed as if they were
tied up in a knot. I lost a* good deal
in weight and it looked like I was get
ting weaker and weaker ayery day.
“I was persuaded to try Tanlac and
I got a bottle of the medicine. It is
certainly making anew man of fne.
I can now eat and sleep better than T
have in years. My rheumatism has all
gone and I feel strong and built up in
every way. I am a well man and cer
tainly am thankful that T found out
about this wonderful medicine. As I
have already said, I have gained thirty
pounds in six weeks’ time, and I feel
stronger and better than I have in
years. Tanlae has certainly straight
ened me out, and I believe it will do
the same thing for anyone else who
lias the same trouble I had.”

AND PEPSIN
In Lax-Fos the Cascara is improved by
the addition of these digestive ingredi

tic but also as a digestive and liver tonic.

matic taste and does not gripe or disturb
the stomach. One bottle will prove
Lax-Fos is invaluable for Constipation,

OOD Clothes are worth all the cost, if only * for
the feeling of being well dressed. They make
a man straighter, and think more of himself; and
they make others thimk more of you. “It pays to
advertise,” these days. A business that doesn’t ad
vertise, isn’t thought much of; don’t get far. Same
with clothes. If you’re progressive, prosperous, up
to-date,—LOOK IT! DRESS UP! IT PAYS!
