R. jt for the entire public. Another dem -Istration will be given on Thursday, jly 19th at nine a. m. at the same lace. At this time other products will e canned. At this demonstration, last Friday, cans, beets and berries were canned, .side from the mere canning the rea ons for the fruit spoiling were taken p. Many very valuable suggestions cere exchanged by those present, ♦ risking the two hours spent very val lable. Demonstrations to be held: Friday, July 13, at Adatrsville. Saturday, July 14, at Cunningham. Tuesday, July 17, at Euharlee. Thursday, July 19' at Cartersville. Friday, July 20, at AMatoona. Anyone who likes will be welcome to attend these demonstrations. Mr. Eugene Cowart spent Sunday with friends in Fairmount. Miss Sarah Gaines, of Adairsville, is the guest of Mrs. J. P. Gaines, this \yeek. THE RAILROADS AND THE LIBERTY LOAN. Nashville, Tenn., July 10. —The em ployes of the N.shville, Chattanooga &*St. Louis Railway are proud of their showing in the recent Lii>erty Loan Bond campaign, as figures just sent out for all the railroads of.the country show that the individual subscriptions of N. C. & St. L. employes are $2 per capita above those for the roads of the United States. The figures show that subscriptions from the employes of all the roads in the United States amounted to $20,- 027,966 and that the total number of subscriptions was 241,280 making an average of SB3 per capita. There were 1,405 N. C. & St. L. employes who sub scribed for a total of $119,500, being a per capita subscription of SBS.
