Was a
Misery
Mrs. F. M. Jones, of
Palmer, Okla., writes:
“From the time I en
tered into womanhood
... I looked with dread
from one month to the
next. I suffered with my
back and bearing-down
pain, until life to me was
a misery. I would think
I could not endure the
pain any longer, and I
gradually got w'orse. . .
Nothing seemed to help
me until, one day, . . .
I decided to
TAKE
The Woman’s Tonic
“I took four bottles,”
Mrs. Jones goes on to
say, “and was not only
greatly relieved, but can
truthfully say that I have
not'a pain. . .
“ It has now been two
years since 1 tookCardui,
and I am still in good
health. . . I would ad
vise any woman or girl
to use Cardui who is a
sufferer from any female
trouble.”
If you suffer pain caused
from womanly trouble, or
if you feel the need of a
good strengthening tonic
to build up yourrun-down
system, take the advice
of Mrs. Jones. Try Car
dui. It helped her. We
believe it will help you.

The Girl at “Information”
She’s a clever girl and she would
like to answer every question asked her.
She is not a weather prophet, however;
she is not a newspaper; she is just a well
trained, special telephone oper

numbers to subscribers,

LEMONS MAKE SKIN
WHITE, SOFT, CLEAR
Make This Beauty Lotion For a Few
Cents and See ‘For Yourself.
What girl or woman hasn’t heard of
lemon juice to remove complexion
blemishes; to whiten the skin and to
bring out the roses, the freshness, and
the hidden beauty? But lemon juice
alone is acid, therefore irritating, and
should be mixed with' orchard white
this way. Strain through a fine cloth
the juice of two fresh lemons into a
bottle containing about three ounces
of orchard white, then shake well and
you have a whole quarter pint of skin
and complexion lotion at about the
cost one usually pays for a small jar
of ordinary cold cream. Be sure to
strain the lemon juice so no pulp gets
into the bottle, then this lotion will
remain pure and fresh for months.
Whlh applied daily to the face, neck,
arms and bands it should help to
bleach, clear, smoothen and beautifv
the skin.
Any druggist will supply three ounc
es of orchard white at very little cost
and the grocer has the lemons.—(ad.)
