New Era road, seven miles from Ainer-
iicus Sunday afternoon, in which Ulrich
Ray, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs.
Veal A. Ray, met a violent death
The unfortunate young man was driv
ing alone when the accident occurred
and details of the affair are unknown.

anything unusual, when seated with
others of the Carter family at dinner,
she saw a frightened horse, attached
to a buggy, with no driver, dash past
her home, crashing into a tree near
