The Sunday school workers of all
denominations will meet for annual
convention at Pleasant Grove Bap
tist church, 7 miles east of Americus,
Ion Saturday and Sunday, Novem

Bunday School Association, which is

Court Clerk Moves
As New Vaults Arrive
The office and records of the clerk
of the Superior court'at the court
house were this morning moved tem
porarily into the old county court
room, to make way for the instal
lation - of the new fireproof steel
vaults which are to house the records
of this office and the county ordinary.
Ordinary Cobb’s records have been
moved from the old vault into Ms
office.
With the steel parts of the vaults
piled high in the court house corri
dors, a gang of convicts were put to
work ezrlv tearing out the old parti
tion between the clerk’s and ordin
ary’s vaults, following which they
began' laying the solid concrete, floor
evangelistic meeting at the Lee
Street church yesterday, Rev. C. M.
Dunaway, the evangelist, declared
that he waa most favorably impress
ed with the city aud its people, and
that he would take the invitation un
der most serious consideration. He
declared that in all of hla years of
flowing, and at the close of which
a great throng came forward in re
sponse to the invitation of the evan
gelist to start a new life. The morn
ing and afternoon meetings, also in
the nature of farewell appearance*
of. the evangelist, were well attend
ed. The free will offering at the
concluding service, wMch went to
Rev. Mr. Dunaway and Hamp Sewell,
the song Jeader, amounted to well
over $300.
