News reached Americus today of
the death of Rev. E. Howard Mc
Gehee at the home of his daughter in
Cuthbert, where he has been for some
time. The funeral and interment will
take place in Guthbert today. Rev.
Mr. McGehee was for years presiding
elder of the Methodist district of
Americus. and was well known and
beloved by a large circle of friends
in this community and elsewhere.
His brother, Rev. J. V. McGehee, died
last year. Both were ministers of
the Methodist conference.
Although a superannuated worker
in the conference, he was so keenly
alert in a physical sense that he was
engaged in his ministerial ciutieS ah-
most up to the day of his death.
