Convinced that there is not much
chance of cotton going higher in the
next few months, Colquitt county
farmers, who have been holding more
than half of last year’s crop, are
gradually marketing it and taking the
joss.
The plant of the Buckeye Cotton
Oil company, at Macon, which has
been closed since October, opened on
full time Tuesday. It employs 30J
laborers in addition to its mechanical
force and is the largest oil mill it.

acts, all who attended were well en
