Dob D. e. The Merry Maskers. The masquerade party given hv the young ladies of Newnan at the resi dence of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Dent last week was a most enjoyable affair in all respects, and will be remembered as one of the brilliant social successes of the season. The large and handsome parlors of the Dent mansion, which have been the scene of so many bril- i liant social gatherings in recent years, were never thrown open to a happier or merrier throng we feel assured, and the large number present but faintly indicated the real enjoyment of the innocent pleasure-seekers. The costumes presented an infinite variety of color and style—at once elegant and grotesque, appropriate and ridiculous— though some of the characterizations were really fine. There was no end of fun, the spirit of revelry being scarcely at its height when supper was announc ed. When this signal was given the merry maskers laid off their disguises, and the looks of astonishment with which they regarded each other as they stood thus revealed showed how com pletely disguised a majority of them were. We print below a full list of those who attended in costume, to- Hetr Cthrertiscments. Notice to Debtors and Creditors. GEORGIA—eowRTA County: All persons having demands asiiinst the es tate of D J.
