The damage caused by the explosion of the boilers at the cotton mill will soon be repaired, and the mill ready to resume work. Mr. Harris, the night watchman, who was so badly burned, is recovering. Fifty thousand dollars worth of new machinery has just been added, which was necessary to meet the demands in the increase of orders for yarns and cloth. Forage House Burned. A house filled with forage, ou Mtyor W.A. Turner’s Hilton farm, west of the city, was destroyed by fire last Friday.
