Olie Camp is in Coweta this week {minting the residence of W. W. Caven- der, near Sargent. Col. E. C. Chastain, of Haalehurst, visited the family of Rev. N. E. Me- Breyer last Sunday. G. W. Tiuney is confined to his home this week with an attack of rheumatism. Mr. Tom Friddell and wife visited at Roopville Saturday and Sunday. Prof. V. D. Whatley left Sunday for a several days visit to different points in Alabama. W. T Strickland has a very sick child this week. Miss Do vie McBrever, who has heen in Atlanta for same time, is expeoted itotue today. The farmers around Whitesburg are moving on fine with their farm work. All liave good stands of cotton, some have fiuished chopping. Cora is looking well; wheat is about ready for the har vest.
