ODD AND POWELL
Our store at No. 9 Greenville St. is not finished off in marble,
nor the walls tinted; but this store does contain one of the best
lines of furniture and household goods that the most exacting
customer could desire. The style, the quality, the construc
tion, the finish, the price, make a combination that is really
pleasing to our customers, as is evidenced by their buying.
Many are taking advantage of
our special low prices ort “odd
dressers,” handsome rockers,”
“iron beds,” beautiful rugs, bed
room suits, hall racks, china
closets, etc.
Your great grandfather was
comfortable on seven slats and
a bag of husks, but he would
have been more comfortable
on a good Perfection mattress
and a “Gold Medal” spring bed,
and if he had had a “Gold Med
al” spring bed it would still be
a restful serviceable bed for
the present generation.
Come to see us, and let us
save you money.

(Jotton statistics for Newnan for
the past four years make interest
ing comparisons for the date of
Oct. iSt. This season there had
been received up to that time
t.533 bales. On sartie date last
season the r. ceipts amounted to
5,on bales. I i 1904 the 'eceipts
were 1,414 baics, and in 1903 only
634 bales.
Thus it is plain that this season
is not as late as either the season
of 1904 or that of 1903. There is
bu- little difference in the receipts
this season and in 1904, up to Oct.
1st, but in 1903 the receipts on
that date amounted to but little
more than one-third of this sea
son’s receipts.
In 1905 the stock on hand
amounted to 1.696 bales on Oct.
1st, while it was about 1,200 bales
this season. The stock in 1904
was 370 bales, and in 1903 it was
