The charm of a oo-ft ropy emu*
p exion is fully realized by ev
ery woman, and any suggestion
tliut helps attain this end is al
ways welcome.
The following hints are the
outgrowth of our experience in
selling toilet specialties for
many years and because of that
experience we feel entitled to
hold views on the sub ject.
Hint 1.—Avoid all bleaches, enam
els, and all creams containing miner
al salts and hurtful ohetnicals. Prep
arations of this kind are seldom sold
by reputable dealers, but are usually
peddled about hy irresponsible )>er-
sons They are seldom of any value,
are often hurtful in the extreme, in
juring the skin and promoting a
hairy growth on the face. Therefore
buy toilet goods only from one in
whom you have confidence—oue who
cannot afford to defraud you.
Hint *2.—A goftd complexion will
result from plenty of exercise, proper
diet, and proper skin nourishment,
together with the proper use of a
good, harmless cream after the fol
lowing method: Thoroughly wash
the face with hot water and pure
soap. After drying gently massage
the skin with Cream Elcaya. This
treatment removes every trace of
dirt and other impurities embedded
ill the iiores and if persisted in will
bring your complexion out of that
tired aud gray-looking condition and
remove any wrinkles whioh may be
beginning. »
Creme Elcnyiv is the best
cream fur this purpose which
we have yet seen. It is harm
less and free from excessive
greasiness. It can be used for
all purposes any cream is good
for. It does no harm to the
most delicate skin, and never
causes a superfluous growth of
hair.
