Wednesday Afternoon Club. Miss Christine Arnold enter tained the Wednesday Afternoon Club at her home on Jackson St. Bridge was the game played. Miss Frances Herring making the highest number of points, was given a lovely pair of black silk i hose. The consolation, a deck of cards, fell to Miss Nell Russell. At the close of the game delight ful refreshments were sen oil. The next meeting will lie with Miss Kvelyn Martin. At a gathering of the vocal tal ent of Newnan at the home of Mrs. Mike Powell Wednesday af ternoon there was organized what will lie known as the “St. Ceeilian <’horns.” The club will prepare a special program for every meeting of songs and chorus, and will oc casionally give a public recital.
