She was a woman of exceptionally fine character. Her kindly, optimistic spir it, her genial disposition, and her smil ing face reflected her charming person ality, and she won a warm place in the hearts of everyone with whom she came in contact. During the two summers that 1 boarded in her home she always seemed cheerful. Her stepchildren were devoted to her. because of her maternal love and devotion toward them. Previous to.her death she moved her church letter from Moreland to Bethel Methodist church, near flaralson. and lived a consistent and self-sacrificing member up to the lime of her death. In the Sunday-school she was a faith ful and conscientious teacher, in the church a loyal member, in the commu nity one who lived to uplift, nod in the home her place cannot he filled. Oh, how we miss her smiling face, and her words of comfort nod encctur- agement! Her sweet voice haunts us yet. I have often heard her Sunday-school pupils speak of her loyalty toward tie I Sunday-school and church. She has left I an influence for good, for her life was a benediction to the world and an honor to the Lord. Her interment was at Pitts' ceme tery, where the funeral service was conducted by her pastor. Rev. J. G. Davis. He spoke comforting words to the family and friends, and wc left her sleeping, there to await the resurrec tion morn. A. M. S. Milledgeville. Ga. Two Children Had Croup. The two children of J. W.
