The campaign, while not altogether
devoid of excitement, has been marked

who will promise to support the nom

OLDER BUT STRONGER
To be healthy at seventy, prepare at
forty, is sound advice, because in the
strength of middle life we too often forget
that neglected colds, or careless treat
ment of slight aches and pains, simply
undermine strength and bring chronic
weakness for later yeprs.
To be stronger when older, keep your
blood pure and rich and active with the
strength-building and blood-nourishing
properties of Scott's Emulsion which isa
food, a tonic and a medicine to keep your
blood rich, alleviate rheumatism and
avoid sickness. No alcohol in Scott's.

To the voters of Coweta county
When I tnm unced my candidacy for
the office of County Commissioner from
the First road district l enjoyed the
hope of meeting personally every voter
in the county. It now seems that this
will be impossible. I want the support
of every voter who believes, with me,
in good roads, and the economic admin
istration of county affairs, and take this
method of usking each and everyone
for their support. Before entering the
race I determined that if I should be
honored by election to this office that I
would give to tho discharge of its duties
all the time that it requires, and my
very beBt judgment. It you will elect
me 1 shall bold the office as a trust,
looking always to the best interests of
the county. W. H. Mashburn,

Dr. Jas. Buckley says: “The great
est address I have heard lin twenty
years, and the highest type of Southern
oratory to which I have ever listened
was delivered by Ex-Gov. R. B. Glenn.”
The New York Dispatch says: “Not
since the days ‘of John B. Gough has
the equal of Gov. Glenn been heard in
New York.”
The North American, Burlington, N.
J., quotes the following from Gov.
Glenn: “We have sworn in the South
to save the bodies, minds and souls of
the boys and girls of the South. That’s
the reason the South’s going dry.”
The Lincoln Chautauqua says: "Gov.
Glenn held an applauding audience of
between five and six thousand people
by the magic of his voice. At one time
handclapping was insufficient, and
shouts were heard from many parts of
the large audience. It is doubtful if
any speaker ever made such a profound
impression upon his hearers.”
