WHAT'S IN A SMILE?
There are winning smiles of glee.
And smiles of coquetry raw.
And come weary smiles you eoe
That boldly conceal dull car*.
There la Mischief’s saucy smile
That chuckles In Reason’s face.
And bids her fellowa beguile
Lonely hours with wit and grace.
There’s Love's smile, sweot and true.
That rnakos the heart beat strong—
Lifts men to nobler view.
And inspires a glad, new song.
Hot of all tho smiles that come
To cheer us along tho way,
The candidate Is in the "run,”
To outshine the sunbeam's ray.
It has charms of overy smile.
But innocent of Its art:—
It hoa the euro way, the wile.
To get the man. Ilia vote, his heart /
What harm if you lough or scoff?
Or if skies be gray or blue?
The same smile that won’t come off "
Is always ready for you.
