Vol. 56-No. 1 HOSPITAL DRIVE 100,000 -11-12 NEWNAN—COWETA COENTY—GEORGIA. The people of Coweta county are facing a serious condition. There is not a hospital in this county. Suppose you should become seriously ill, and needed the immediate care and services a first- class hospital offers, where would you go? This not only applies to you, but to every one else in the county. Let’s prepare to meet an emergency that happens sometimes in all of our lives. A drive is being conducted to raise $100,000 in Newnan and Coweta county to build a first- class hospital that will meet and fill the great and increasing need in this county. The building of a hospital is not the business of an individual, but .the business of every person in the county. We are all obligated to each other, and we are especially “our brother’s keeper” when they are helplessly ill and can’t do for themselves. The building of a first-class hospital would meet part of the obliga tion we all owe to each other. The work of the Newnan-Coweta County Hospital will be county-wide. No individual com munity or group of people will be favored. The institution will be conducted in a generous and democratic way, serving the people of Coweta county so all will receive the greatest benefit. The hospital will be equipped and operated in such a modern manner that any person in the most re mote part of the county can send a call for the ambulance, and they will be in the hospital receiving the proper treatment and care in less than two hours. Let Everyone Boost the Hospital! We ask that you give this matter serious consideration, and join with us, and help to make it possible to build an institution that will be a credit to the county, offer ing the people the service and protection they deserve.
