Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Banka entertained
at a family dinner Friday evening.
The Methodist Sunday-school gavo a
“white Christmas” entertainment Sun
day morning. A largo quantity of gro
ceries and fruits were donated, and a
nico sum in cash was also collected, to
make somebody happy at Christmas.
J)r. Comer preached a line sermon at
the Baptist church Sunday. Dr. Rambert
G. Smith, of Newnan, occupied file pul-
nit at the Methodist church.
The Woman’s Missionary Society held
an executive meeting Monday, at which
the very efficient president, Mrs. Irby
White, was re-elected.
The high school girls gave a party at
the homo of Miss Elizabeth Banks Mon
day evening.
Miss Fisher and Miss Murphey, of
Newnan, are visiting Miss Elizabeth
Banks.
Our school closed Friday, after a most
successful fall term. The Christmas play
presented by the pupils was a funny
little comedy, and the girls sustained
their parts well.
The school girls and boys are return
ing homo for the holidays. Misses Ma
bel Anderson and Martha Anderson,
